Educational Background
Bachelor of Music in Music Education: Viterbo University
Educational Experience
16 years with Aquinas Catholic Schools
I was born just outside of Phoenix Arizona where I stayed till the age of 4 months. My family moved back to Wisconsin, so I consider Wisconsin my home.
I was raised in the small community of Mauston, near Wisconsin Dells. I attended St. Patrick's Elementary School in Mauston for 8 years and graduated from Mauston High School. I then attended Viterbo University where I received my Bachelor's of Music in Music Education with a Psychology minor. Shortly after graduation I was hired at Aquinas High School and I have been here ever since.
In addition to Robed Choir and Concert Choir, I direct our school's Vocal Jazz Ensemble, direct the Fall Musical and Spring Play, as well as teach a full year theater class. Ms. Wenzel and I co-teach Honors Music every other year which gives students the opportunities to explore music theory, music history, and have a more involved performance schedule. We are also the faculty leaders for our school's chapter of Tri-M National Music Honors Society.
Outside of school time I am the director of the La Crosse Boychoir and music direct at various local community theaters throughout the year.

Concert Choir
Concert Choir is a non-auditioned vocal ensemble which emphasizes the learning of music fundamentals, vocal techniques, and performance skills. Students will learn 3 to 4 part choral music in a variety of musical styles. Individual lessons are a requirement of Concert Choir as well as seasonal performances, large group music contests, and festivals.
